Controlling Your Verse: Part 1

Beginning phases of my newest painting lots of interest ideas soon to be showing. For your own sanity control your own universe never allow someone else to control you. Even if it means standing alone, at least you are strong enough to conquer whatever challenges you may face.

Love...

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest, opens your heart, and it means that someone can get inside you and seriously mess you up... You build up all your defenses, build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, wonders into your stupid worthless life, and you give them a piece of you. They didn't even ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like smile at you, kiss you, make you feel special, and then your life isn't your own anymore... Love takes hostages, and leaves no survivors. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness all alone, so the simplest things can affect you, it can turn into a glass splinter growing and working it's way to your heart. It hurts. It hurts soo bad. Not just in your imagination, mind, or thoughts, it's a deep soul hurt. A real-get-inside-you-and-ruin-your- entire-being pain. A rip-you-apart pain. I need an off switch. I hate love. I want to just go numb like I feel on the outside.  I only feel regret. I hate love so much...

Orlando Shooting...

My heart goes out to the families affected by the recent shootings in Orlando. This is not an act of terrorism, this a hate crime. Everyone deserves to live their own lives how ever they choose. No one deserves to die because someone doesn't agree with who someone is.
